Robb's been working conventional musical instruments since 1989 starting with a stand-up acoustic bass.

In the following years, Robb formed several bands and played a range of dark melodies, grunge (edging toward metal), and synth pop. It was a natural progression for him to move from songwriter to producer, and thus worked late many nights to create the recordings his bands offered their fans.

Robb's passion for low frequency sound manipulation followed him to 2001 when he began DJing clubs and rave parties, most of which were legally questionable.  After years of playing, recording, and producing rock bands, the black arts of techno and house were second-nature.

​In 2001 Robb began collecting vintage and modern electronic instruments. He's always been inspired by hardware and software incorporating the best of breed in his recordings.
